It was hard for me to read this article about design tools. There was a lot of big words in there that I did not understand which kind of bored me.... but at the same time I wanted to know more about the tools and terms used.
The Perceived consequence tool summed up is when the player comes up with a plan and then see the results of it. Most RPG games would have used this.
Adventure games would use a bit of both perceived consequences and intention.
